Gold is the thread that weaves together the diversity of patterns, textures and techniques exhibited in my quilt and gold symbolizes the value I place on bio-diversity and the preservation of our environment that supports it.  I once lived in East Africa, have wonderful memories of its golden landscapes, and have attempted to capture a moment of life’s endless rhythm in the Serengeti Plain.  Rhythmically patterned strips span the scene expressing life‘s endless and joyous rhythms.
